DEFENCE ON THE BRINK is a UK-based platform that combines journalism and the analysis of military experts to create engaging content. Founded in 2024, our aim is to create a community to discuss the current geopolitical scene as well as what needs to be addressed in order to make sure Britain is war-ready.

The Army’s size has fallen to a record low of 72,510. Even faster than the Government planned.
DEFENCE SPENDING
We need to be spending more on defence. 2% of GDP is not enough. Britain must hit 2.5%.
FAILED PROCUREMENT
The MOD is not getting value for the money spent. Defence procurement needs urgent reform. Top to bottom.
